The name NetBase reflects our mission: To make data from the social web accessible to business users and actionable for decision making.
We believe that social media has radically changed the playing field for business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) companies. To innovate, compete, and succeed in this new world, global enterprises need to adopt a new strategy and approach to operations that incorporates information from the outside in—directly from customers—rather than from the inside out. We call this new operating model C2B.

At the core of our solutions is advanced natural language processing (NLP) technology that, simply put, can read and understand language—at massive scale. NetBase strives to put our the NLP technology’s speed and accuracy to work to deliver clean and accurate social media data to all organizations—the second it’s needed. Our social media insight and analysis solutions were developed in partnership with five of the top 10 CPG companies, including Coca-Cola and Kraft, and are used by hundreds of corporate clients, leading agencies such as GfK and J. D. Power & Associates, and the Wall Street Journal. SAP is a global reseller of NetBase.
