The NetBase leadership team is a group of industry veterans who have each filled these same senior management roles at multiple high-tech companies. They have successfully guided companies through all stages of growth, from start-up to IPO to acquisition.

Peter Caswell

Chief Executive Officer

Peter Caswell, a Silicon Valley veteran, brings to NetBase more than 25 years of experience driving operational excellence, financial discipline and exponential revenue growth throughout technology organizations. As CEO of Siperian, Peter was responsible for the overall strategic direction, growth and management of the company. He drove the business to operating profitability and grew revenue by seven times in three years before selling to Informatica for more than $130mm in January 2010. Previously Caswell served as the CEO at Enkata Technologies and Advent Software where he grew the business 42 percent per year for nine years and achieved more than $2.5B in market capitalization. He has held executive sales and marketing positions with MSA (a Dun & Bradstreet Software company) and Hogan Systems. Peter holds the equivalent of an MBA in Management Studies and a BA in Agriculture from the Seale Hayne College in the United Kingdom.

 

Bob PapeBob Pape

Chief Financial Officer

Bob has been a CFO at high-tech, venture-backed companies for the past 29 years, most recently with Siperian, which was successfully sold to Informatica in January 2010. In addition to the traditional CFO role, he has served as CEO, COO, Division General Manager and SVP of Manufacturing for several companies. He has worked with companies as small as $2 million in revenue and as large as $250 million and has developed financial and administrative infrastructures that have helped companies grow from $2M to $25M in four years and from $50M to $250M in three years. Bob has a BSBA degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri and received a CPA certificate from the State of Missouri.

 

Mark Bowles

Chief Technology Officer

Mark brings more than 45 years of experience to his role as CTO for NetBase, where he is responsible for the company’s overall architecture and technology vision. He is a co-founder and former CTO of TIBCO Software, and was the co-inventor and patent author for the company’s fundamental communication technology. Mark was also formerly CIO at BondMart Technologies and Vice President, Messaging Systems at BEA Systems. He holds an MS in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BS in Computer and Communication Science from the University of Michigan.

 

Lisa Joy Rosner

Chief Marketing Officer

Lisa Joy Rosner has over 18 years of experience launching, rebranding, and driving revenue for high-tech companies in Silicon Valley. Before joining NetBase, Lisa was Vice President of Marketing at MyBuys, where she created a new category in e-commerce, personalized product recommendations. Previously, she was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at BroadVision Inc., a pioneer of e-business solutions. She has also been Vice President, Marketing, at DecisionPoint Applications, a financial performance management software provider that was acquired by Teradata. Prior to that, Lisa launched Market-Touch Corporation, where she pioneered and evangelized a new category in CRM—Sales Effectiveness. She has also served in senior marketing roles at Brio Technology, SGI, and Oracle. Lisa graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland with a BA in English Literature.

 

Bob CicconeBob Ciccone

Vice President of Services and Customer Success

Bob brings over 28 years of experience leading customer-facing teams skilled in consulting, delivery services, and support for blue chip enterprise customers.  As the Customer Success leader at Netbase, Bob is responsible for delivering and maintaining customer impact in our direct relationships and through our trusted partners. Prior to Netbase he was most recently a VP at Hewlett-Packard in an industry solutions business unit, was previously the CEO of Cydelity, an online fraud detection solution vendor, an EVP with ArcSight from its founding, a VP with EDS/ATKearney focusing on strategic consulting, and a VP with Oracle working in application solutions and consulting services.  Earliest in his career he delivered business strategies and implementations of major enterprise systems as a management consultant at Booz-Allen and a systems integrator at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).

 

Stephen Winters

Vice President of Engineering and Operations

Stephen provides NetBase with over 25 years of experience building and leading exceptional teams. Most recently, he consulted with clients including HP, Symbol, DemandTec and others, helping them improve their ability to meet and deliver commitments for technical products. Previously, Stephen was vice president of Engineering at Ariba, and was president and COO at DigitalSquare. He also worked for Cadence Design Systems and spent 10 years at Apple Computer, where he served as the director of licensing operations, and in imaging technologies as the creator and manager of the Imaging Host Software team. Stephen is a graduate of The Business Professional’s Course, an executive MBA-level program, and he is an on-going student in the LEIP Program by The Aji Network. He has completed extensive studies in business and computer science at The University of Alaska.

 

Jens Tellefsen

Vice President of Product Management

Jens brings more than 15 years of experience in enterprise software, leading companies in areas of product strategy, marketing and product management. He has held executive positions at several enterprise software companies, including Vendavo, price management, Callidus Software, sales compensation management, Phiware, demand planning, Pervado Systems/Allmystuff, product ownership and warranty services, and Trilogy Software, sales compensation management. Prior to Trilogy, Jens worked at McKinsey & Company advising major corporations. Jens holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University with a focus in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

 

Michael Osofsky

Chief Innovation Officer and Co-Founder

Michael is the inventor of the technology powering NetBase’s product solutions. His unique background spans computer science and innovation science, and due to his experience in both areas, he came up with the idea of applying the speed and reach of technology to knowledge workers’ everyday information needs. Prior to NetBase, Michael worked for Ariba, where he led multiple product development efforts. Michael holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he founded the MIT Innovation Club, whose 200+ members learn about the science and practice of innovation. Additionally, Michael holds a BA in computer science from UC Berkeley.
