Kelly Lewis Brezoczky
Kelly is Chief Operating Officer of Renew Medical, a start up funded by Shalon Ventures that is developing a breakthrough new product in the untapped billion dollar market for accidental bowel leakage (ABL). She has over 20 years experience as an accomplished executive and entrepreneur. Kelly began her career at Procter & Gamble where she established a strong track record of identifying the critical insights and business infrastructures necessary to build profitable, market leading brands. At P&G, Kelly established global marketing models on 2 personal care brands; pioneered a new model for healthcare marketing; and served on P&G’s first management team into China, where she oversaw businesses that grew to $500M over a 5 year period.
In 1997, Kelly founded the Lewis Carmel Group, a management consulting firm focused on applying her successful new products commercialization skills in the life sciences. Kelly holds a BA in International Studies and was selected a NC Leadership Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is married, has three daughters and has served on the boards of her daughters’ schools for the past 10 years.
Dave Evans
Dave is the VP of Social Strategy at Social Dynamx, an Austin, TX-based firm involved in the processes that link customer service and the social web. Dave is also the author of best-selling “Social Media Marketing: An Hour a Day,” as well as “Social Media Marketing: The Next Generation of Business Engagement.” Dave is a regular columnist for ClickZ, a frequent keynoter and leads social technology and measurement workshops with the American Marketing Association as well as Social Media Executive Seminars, a C-level business training provider.
Dave has worked in social technology consulting and development around the world: with Canada’s Telus International, India’s Publicis|2020media and its clients including the Bengaluru International Airport, Intel, Dell, United Brands, and Pepsico and with Austin’s GSD&M| IdeaCity and clients including PGi, Southwest Airlines, AARP, Wal-Mart, and the PGA TOUR. Dave serves on the advisory boards for social technology startups including Palo Alto-based Friend2Friend and Mountain View-based Netbase and iGoals.
Prior, Dave was a product manager with Progressive Insurance and a systems analyst with NASA| Jet Propulsion Labs. Dave co-founded Digital Voodoo, a web technology consultancy, in 1994. Dave holds a BS in physics and mathematics from the State University of New York/ Brockport and has served on the Advisory Board for ad:tech and the Measurement and Metrics Council with WOMMA
Kip Knight
Kip is a veteran of brand marketing, with over 30 years of experience working in over 65 countries around the world. Kip started his career in Brand Management at Procter and Gamble and was formerly Chief Marketing Officer of Taco Bell, head of marketing for KFC International, and held various executive marketing positions for eBay, North America as well as eBay International.
Kip is currently President of KnightVision Marketing, based in Silicon Valley, and works with a wide variety of U.S. and international clients on strategic marketing and planning initiatives. Kip also serves as the Dean of the U.S. Marketing College for the U.S. State Department.
Dwight Riskey
Dwight recently retired as SVP of Consumer/Customer Insights from PepsiCo, Inc. after 25 years. In his most recent role for PepsiCo, Dwight identified consumer and marketplace growth and innovation opportunities to accelerate PepsiCo’s leadership in the snack foods and beverage industries. Prior to that, Dwight was Chief Marketing Officer for 3 PepsiCo business divisions, Frito-Lay North America, Frito-Lay International, and PepsiCo Restaurants International. He joined PepsiCo in 1982 as Research Principal Scientist and held various positions of increasing responsibility in the company’s Research and Development Department. In 1986 he became Director of Marketing Information and was then Vice President. Dwight next led New Products Development consisting of Marketing Information, New Products and Focus Brand Marketing.
Prior to PepsiCo, he was Research Scientist with General Foods. He attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate degrees. While at UCLA he won the Franz Distinguished Teaching Award for two consecutive years. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania and taught at several colleges and universities. In his retirement, Dwight started Riskey Business Solutions, LLC, a marketing and market research consulting firm.
Stan Sthanunathan
Stan is currently Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Insights of The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, heading up the function on a global basis. Prior to this role, Stan was Head of Knowledge & Insights for the Asia Group based in Hong Kong. He started his career ten years ago in The Coca-Cola Company as Research Manager of Middle East and North Africa Division based in London. Before joining Coca-Cola, Stan was General Manager of NFO in their Middle East, North Africa office based out of Dubai for five years.
His research career started in 1985 with Pathfinders: India with whom he was associated for almost seven years. Upon leaving, he was General Manager of the agency. Stan earned his Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bombay University and followed this with his MBA from India Institute of Management in Bangalore, India.
Tom Wagner
As the current Vice President of Consumer Insights & Brand Planning for Taco Bell, Tom is responsible for all elements of menu and brand research. Additionally, his department drives the development of overall marketing and brand strategies for Taco Bell, a $6.5 billion dollar QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) company. Taco Bell employs nearly 200,000 people and serves over 40 million consumers every week.
Tom has a B.S. from UC Davis (’85) and is a graduate of UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business (’89) and brings 20 years of retail food experience across a variety of functions including acquisitions, strategic planning, real estate development, market research and brand marketing.
